Five Generations of Mezcal

In mezcal tradition, the craft is passed from father to son, generation to generation. Wahaka owner Alberto Morales learned how to perfect mezcal from his father, and his father from his, going back five generations. Now, he stewards a sacred lineage of mezcal craftmanship. With his family working beside him, Alberto is preserving the art of artisanal mezcal for future generations.

Tradition Meets Today

Wahaka is more a family than a brand. There's something special about a mezcal that's personally made by the owner in the company, with his family working by his side. Alberto Morales is a maestro mezcalero, an honor earned only after decades of investment in a craft. Yet, he's just as interested in ensuring the world has the opportunity to enjoy true artisanal mezcal.
